After a long discussion, Maserati finally showed future crossover currently they named Maserati Kubang. Later, Maserati Kubang will share the womb with the popular Jeep Grand Cherokee.
This car was scheduled to be born by Chrysler Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Michigan coupled with the Jeep Grand Cherokee and according to Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne also will prove that Michigan is capable of producing world-class luxury cars. The results of this factory is planned to be distributed to the entire world.
“This is one classic way of debunking the myth that Detroit (and Michigan) is limited in their ability to produce large vehicles,” Marchionne said in Detroit News.
However, because this is a Maserati car, then Marchionne emphasized that the Kubang is “pure Maserati” and will be priced according to the price. “We’re not going to cheapen the car,” he said.
