Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Limited Edition was introduced. This SUV will go into the showroom started in May 2012.

The hard roof of the car body-colored becomes one character. Same color as the body is present in the middle of the front bumper/rear too.

The car using the wheel diameter 18″ 4-spoke black shiny rings circled. Tank cover was given by Mopar, black graphics on the hood and black ‘Jeep’ logo.

Black and red theme colored the interior. Red thread sew leather seats, door panels, center arm rest, carpets, and in the front passenger grab handle, which are all black.

The car is available in a choice of colors Deep Cherry Red, Black, Bright White and Bright Silver Metallic. The price is USD 33,740 in the United States.

“We will only produce 4500 units,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group. “But I hope the car is sold out very quickly.”

VW Polo Blue GT Can Run with 2 Cylinders

All You Need to Know about a Key Transponder

A key transponder is an accessory that is made in a factory and comes preinstalled in a car. It allows transmission of radio signals between the key and the car in order to enhance security of the car. Each transponder key is programmed to start a specific car and it is therefore not possible for another person to start the car without the original transponder key. This feature is very advantageous as shall be discussed later on.

It is possible to start a car with a blank transponder key but it can take as much as thirty minutes for the car’s system to adjust to be able to use the new key. If a person has two pre-programmed keys, it is possible to program a transponder key in less than five minutes. Transponder keys are mostly common in high end cars but they are quickly being adopted by lower end cars.

Benefits of transponder keys

Prevents improper ignition: it is not possible to start the ignition of a car if a person does not have the right transponder key. This is an important security feature since it reduces the chances of car theft to almost zero. In the case that a person manages to gain entry into a car that uses a transponder key ignition system, then the person cannot be able to start it.
No key is similar to the other: a transponder key contains a chip on the top part of the key. This chip is programmed with a specific code which is also programmed into the car’s electronic control unit (ECU). Every car has a unique code and there is no chance of another key being used to start a car for which it is not programmed for.
Convenient replacement: if a person wants to make another transponder key, it is possible for him/her to buy a ‘blank’ key and program it by him/herself. This process usually takes less than five minutes to complete but it can vary from one car model to the other.

A key transponder is definitely not the ultimate in car security but it is definitely a step in the right direction. It has benefits over the use of manual keys because a car’s ECU cannot allow a person to start the ignition without having the proper transponder key. The modern technology that allows the benefits of a transponder key and many others is an advanced keyless entry system.

Toyota Reveals New Sedan

Toyota continued expansion of the American car market with a new car. Once rumored to be giving birth Toyota FT-Bh, the Japanese car manufacturer was going to spawn a new sedan.

A sketch has also been deployed. Curve of the tail section got a unique look that is quite different from the other Toyota line-up, in which the New York Auto Show next April becomes debut of the sedan.

The latest sedan touted highly “amazing” and as a new car, the Toyota sedan would look elegant yet athletic.

Well, unfortunately Toyota remains sealed the faces of the new sedan until the leading auto show in the U.S. beginning in April.

Rumored if the sedan is a successor to the Toyota Avalon which is equipped with machine-type 1MZ FE V6 3,000 cc and 3,500 cc equipped with 5 and 6 automatic transmission, and 4-speed automatic for 3,000 cc engine.

The car will be competing with the Ford Taurus and Hyundai Azera, Chevy Impala, Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger which has undergone a change in exterior and interior and also powertrain.
