Maserati will officially lower the newest variant of GranTurismo Sport to replace the GranTurismo S. Maserati GranTurismo Sport is scheduled it will show off at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

GranTurismo S itself is the best selling variant of Maserati. Thus, the Maserati will expect a lot from GranTurismo Sport for continuing the triumph of his older brother, GranTurismo S.

Maserati GranTurismo Sport gets revised power output reaching 454 horsepower from 4.7-liter V8 engine. With the engine and power output, the sportcar is able to accelerate from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in just five seconds.

There are two transmissions offered in this GranTurismo Sport variant. As a standard comes six-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter. While the six-speed manual transmission equipped sequential manual transaxle box. Transmission button will be available on the control wheel, as an optional feature with the auto box.

As a distinctive Sport variant of S, the Sport model will get a new front bumper, which is claimed to optimize air flow to the engine and also serves as a brake cooling. (continue reading…)

Volkswagen (VW) launched a new variant that is ready to slide in 2013. The car, named VW Golf GTi was developed with high-capacity machines.

VW Golf GTi 2013 is equipped with four-cylinder 2.0-liter plus turbocharger. This machine is able to shoot up to 260 hp at 5500 rpm and torque of 300 Nm at 2200 rpm. This engine power is 40 hp greater than VW Golf GTi earlier versions. Transmission system adopted in the form of a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed DSG automatic.

With the front-wheel-drive system (FWD), this Golf GTi is able to accelerate from a standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds at speeds reaching a maximum speed of 245 km/h. While the fuel consumption of 12.35 km/liter and CO2 emissions of 189 g/km.

Apart from the engine side, the legs are also updated by the VW technicians. The use of electronic limited-slip diff (XDS) is considered very appropriate, in order to increase comfort. However, the use of this new suspension makes the car 22 millimeters lower than the previous generation.

Mitsubishi released the first images of their latest crossover Outlander 2013. Japanese manufacturers had promised to reveal the detail of this car at the Geneva Motor Show 2012 exhibition next month. Display of the new Outlander is similar to the hybrid concept that was released a few years.

Outlander will be launched first in Russia, followed throughout Europe, Japan and North America at the end of summer.

Mitsubishi also said for the European market, they will release version of the Outlander EV plug-in which only produces 50 grams of CO2 per km by the end of this year.

In the European market, Outlander will use a 2.0 liter MIVEC petrol engine or 2.2 liter MIVEC Diesel Clean. The embedded technology among others is Auto Stop & Go, and also a new 6-speed automatic transmission system.

Toyota announced Land` Cruiser facelift version, which was introduced to the Japanese market last December, will soon enter the U.S. market.

Japanese manufacturer announced if they will display the Land Cruiser at the 2013 Chicago Motor Show, which will be open from 8 February.

The new look of Land Cruiser, among others appear on the front fascia, headlights that use LED daytime running lights, fender, and rear-view mirror.

Interior can now choose between colors Sandstone or Black. Leather seats, wood trim and metallic accents. New features include Multi-terrain Monitor system, Multi-information Display, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Land Cruiser V8 engines still use the 5.7-liter V8 engine with 381 hp power and 543 Nm of torque. This machine uses the transmission 6-speed automatic transmission.
