Volkswagen (VW) launched a new variant that is ready to slide in 2013. The car, named VW Golf GTi was developed with high-capacity machines.
VW Golf GTi 2013 is equipped with four-cylinder 2.0-liter plus turbocharger. This machine is able to shoot up to 260 hp at 5500 rpm and torque of 300 Nm at 2200 rpm. This engine power is 40 hp greater than VW Golf GTi earlier versions. Transmission system adopted in the form of a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed DSG automatic.
With the front-wheel-drive system (FWD), this Golf GTi is able to accelerate from a standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds at speeds reaching a maximum speed of 245 km/h. While the fuel consumption of 12.35 km/liter and CO2 emissions of 189 g/km.
Apart from the engine side, the legs are also updated by the VW technicians. The use of electronic limited-slip diff (XDS) is considered very appropriate, in order to increase comfort. However, the use of this new suspension makes the car 22 millimeters lower than the previous generation.
But the exterior, the sixth generation Golf GTi was not much different from its predecessor, starting from a grille form resembling a honeycomb, headlamp design, up to the bonnet that resembles the letter V.
