Mitsubishi released the first images of their latest crossover Outlander 2013. Japanese manufacturers had promised to reveal the detail of this car at the Geneva Motor Show 2012 exhibition next month. Display of the new Outlander is similar to the hybrid concept that was released a few years.
Outlander will be launched first in Russia, followed throughout Europe, Japan and North America at the end of summer.
Mitsubishi also said for the European market, they will release version of the Outlander EV plug-in which only produces 50 grams of CO2 per km by the end of this year.
In the European market, Outlander will use a 2.0 liter MIVEC petrol engine or 2.2 liter MIVEC Diesel Clean. The embedded technology among others is Auto Stop & Go, and also a new 6-speed automatic transmission system.
