It’s official, the Bugatti Veyron super car once again proved itself as the world’s fastest production car after breaking the speed record by running up to 431.3 km/hr.

The record created by the Bugatti’s test driver Pierre Henri Raphanel at VW’s Ehra-Lessien test circuit. The achievement broke the record previously held also by the Bugatti Veyron up to 415.2 km/hr.

Greatness of Bugatti Veyron because it has crazy machines equipped with four turbo and intercooler, the machine which previously had a magnitude of 1,001 hp was capable to increased to 1,183 bhp with 1,500 Nm of torque.

Of course to get it, the price that needed to bring it to the garage also very expensive, because the Bugatti Veyron is currently known as the most expensive car in the world with the official price of US$ 2 million.

Now, it is known, Bugatti is preparing the successor of Bugatti Veyron which named Bugatti Super Sport. This car planned will be introduced at the Pebble Beach Concours exhibition next month.

Until now, the Bugatti Veyron has 260 units that have been released by Bugatti, this number will certainly increase given the Bugatti himself hopes to sell up to 300 units of Bugatti Veyron until 2012.

Previous record for the fastest production car in the hands of Shelby Supercars (SSC) Ultimate Aero, but the SSC Aero must release the title to the Bugatti.
